LinkedIn Authority Assessment
Your reputation is real. It just does not travel.
HOW IT WORKS
Three steps.
Step 1
Take the assessment
Eighteen questions, about six minutes. Each one describes real behavior. Pick the answer that sounds most like you.
Step 2
See your result
Your score, the part of your strategy that is short, and your two priorities, with action items from the book.
Step 3
Your next steps
Your resources, an invitation to the live workshop, and a session with Judi if the fit is right.
Who this is for
Established, and not yet visible.
- Senior executives, founders, and advisors whose reputation lives inside the relationships they already have.
- Leaders who left a corporate role and are building a consulting, fractional, advisory, or board practice.
- Experienced professionals who win business through referrals and want the right decision-makers to find them first.
- People who are excellent at their work and uncomfortable talking about themselves.
Who it is not for
Anyone looking for a shortcut.
- Anyone hoping for a hack, a template, or automation that promises leads.
- Anyone who wants to be told what they want to hear. The questions describe what you actually do.
- Anyone who wants a promise of results. The assessment shows where the weakness is. What you do about it is up to you.
Where you are
You are not starting over.
You have spent years building something worth trusting. Your clients know it. They refer you without being asked. The work speaks for itself, inside the relationships that already exist.
That is not nothing. That is everything.
Then someone asks what you are doing now. You give the answer you have given a hundred times. They nod, and they tell you to let them know if they can help. The conversation is warm, and nothing follows.
Nobody was unkind. They simply cannot connect what you do now with the problem sitting in front of them. Your reputation lives in the relationships you already have, and that is where it stays.
What is not yet visible is a presence that matches the caliber of that work. Your LinkedIn looks like a résumé from an earlier version of your career. It does not reflect the practice you run now.
When a senior executive searches for an advisor, they check LinkedIn. When a referral partner wants to send someone your way, they look you up first to confirm what they already believe. When a conference organizer considers a speaker on your topic, LinkedIn determines who surfaces.
Right now, none of those searches find the version of you that your best clients already know.
This is fixable.
Why more activity does not fix it
Most people answer this with volume.
More posts. More connection requests. Automation that promises leads. The book is direct about it: there is no shortcut to building credibility, and tools built for volume are the fastest way to damage your brand.
The goal is credibility that leads to trust. People refer you, hire you, and invite you to speak once they trust what they see. That trust is built in three places, and the three have to hold each other up.
The Triple-E Method treats them as three parts of one strategy: Elevate, Expand and Engage. You need all three. All three have to hold each other up, or you do a lot more work than you need to just to stay upright.
The framework
Which part of your strategy is holding you back?
Strategy, held up by three parts
The seat
Strategy
- The goal you have for LinkedIn, beyond wanting leads.
- How clearly you can describe the person you most want to reach.
- Whether your profile, your content, and your outreach work together.
In the book: Part Three, the chapter What NOT To Do.
Part one
Elevate
- Your headline and About section, read as a stranger would read them.
- The proof your profile shows that you deliver.
- How you show up in the feed.
In the book: Part One.
Part two
Expand
- Whether you have looked through the network you already have.
- How you decide who to connect with.
- Whether your network reflects the work you do now.
In the book: Part Two.
Part three
Engage
- What happens after someone accepts your connection request.
- How often you comment and respond.
- How often a conversation becomes a call or a meeting.
In the book: Part Three.
What the questions sound like
They describe what you actually do.
There are no 1-to-10 ratings to inflate. Each answer is a sentence you might say to yourself. Choose the one that is closest to true. There is no wrong answer, only an honest one.
Someone you want to know accepts your connection request. What happens next?
- I send a message about my services.
- Nothing. The connection just sits there.
- A friendly thank-you, and no follow-up.
- A message about something specific to them, and a plan to keep the conversation going.
What you get
Six minutes. Six things.
- Your result. See which part of your strategy is holding everything back.
- Your two priorities, with action items from the book, matched to your lowest answers.
- Your score, out of 100.
- Resources chosen for the areas where you scored lowest: articles, videos, and the chapters that cover them.
- An invitation to the live workshop, where Judi works through the same three parts of the framework and takes questions in the room.
- Your next steps, in order: the resources for your weakest areas, an invitation to the live workshop, and a session with Judi if the fit is right.
What it will not do
It does one thing.
- It does not write your posts or your profile.
- It does not price your work or promise leads.
- It does not replace a conversation. It shows you where the weakness is, and what to do first.

What comes after the assessment
Expertise does not create opportunity. Positioning does.
Whether you lead an established firm or are building what comes next, the executives who win the best opportunities are the ones whose expertise is clear, credible, and memorable.
The assessment tells you which of the three parts is short. If you want help closing it, your result will point you to the right next step. That might be a focused hour on one decision, a two-hour strategy session, or a qualification conversation about the 90-Day Authority Intensive, the program built on the same three phases you are about to be scored against.
None of that is required. Most people take the assessment, read the result, and act on the action items themselves. That is a good outcome too.
Before you start
Questions
Your reputation is real. Six minutes shows you where it stops traveling.
